Dear SPT attendees,
 
We look forward to welcoming you to Texas A&M University and Bryan/College Station in a little more than a week.  We have what we expect to the the last "burst" of information to pass along as we are working through the last of the logistical details.
 
*  If you have not yet registered for the conference, please do so as soon as possible using the links found on www.spt2019.org.  Currently, 185 people are registered, but there are over 200 papers on the program.  If you are not able to attend, kindly let us know if you have not already done so.
 
*  An updated version of the program is available at https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/334b5c_5d183bf719bd4d239602ee7496c9f117.pdf.
 
*  Please let us know if you are willing to chair a session.
 
*  We will have a welcome reception with beer, wine, and appetizers from 7:00–9:00 PM on Sunday night, May 19th, at the University Club.  The venue is a short walk from the conference hotel on the 11th floor of Rudder Tower. *  If you need child care, please notify us the dates, times, and ages of the children by Wednesday, May 15.
 
*  Many of the Ground Shuttle departures from Houston to College Station are already full; if you wish to use that option, do so soon.  Other options include renting a car at the airport, which is easy and usually rather affordable.  While ride sharing prices vary, an Uber often runs about $130, which is reasonable if three people share the fare.
