In the first week, you explored how you could professionally
involve students and last week we focussed on the principles of
good education. You are now able to formulate learning outcomes
in a SMART way and recognise active teaching and learning
activities. Keep in mind that an inspiring and well formulated
course syllabus is already half the work of setting up your
course.

This week, you will hear all about teaching students. We will
share tips with you on how to teach a small group session and you
will explore different aspects that will help you to manage a
classroom and its atmosphere. We would also like you to think
about the characteristics of a good teacher. What makes a good
teacher? How do you motivate students? And how do you deal with
academic cultural differences?
