ow do I register?</h1>To get to Online Registration, log into the my.bham s=
tudent portal, then select the my.programme tab and follow the link to Onli=
ne Registration. More information is provided on our Online Registration pa=
ges.  See our <a href=3D"https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/privacy/index.aspx">s=
tudent privacy notice</a> for more information on how we use your data.<h1 =
class=3D"title">What do I need for Online Registration?</h1>There are a few=
 things you will need to tell us and upload when you complete Online Regist=
ration. Take a moment to read through the information below so that you hav=
e everything to hand before you start.<p><b>1.  ID Number and Login Details=
</b><p>Your student ID number is: 2093536</p><p>You will also need your stu=
dent username and password, sometimes referred to as your AD Username. Keep=
 these details safe! You will use them throughout your time at the Universi=
ty to access online services, including your student email account.</p><p> =
AD Username: AAF936<br>Password: N976943w</p><p>Take control of your Univer=
sity password without having to contact the IT Service Desk by registering =
for our <a href=3D"https://www.my.password.bham.ac.uk/">My Password service=
</a> today where you can create a basic profile and change your password.<p=
><b>2. Passport and visa </b></p>All students (UK, EEA and international) w=
ill need to confirm to us that they have the right to study in the UK by up=
loading copies of documents such as your passport and/or visa.  It is extre=
mely important that you take time to read <a href=3D"https://intranet.birmi=
ngham.ac.uk/student/student-hub/solution.aspx?nodeId=3D3410">the informatio=
n provided online</a> to ensure you upload the appropriate documents, as th=
ese may differ from student to student. <p><b>3. ID Card Photo</b></p><p>Yo=
u will be asked to upload a photo for your student ID card. This needs to b=
e a recent passport-style, digital image which clearly shows your face. Ple=
ase read the <a href=3D"https://intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/student-h=
ub/menu.aspx?nodeId=3D2163">Image Guidelines</a> before uploading your phot=
o to check that it is suitable, and remember, this will be your official Un=
iversity ID! </p><p><b>4.  Fees and Funding</b><p>Once you have registered =
you will receive an invoice confirming your tuition fees and the date by wh=
ich they are due to be paid or a Direct Debit application made to pay in mo=
nthly or termly instalments. If you have a tuition fee loan, or your fees a=
re paid by a sponsor, please provide the details as part of Online Registra=
tion.<p>To set up a Direct Debit or see full details on all payment methods=
 available please visit our <a href=3D"https://intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/fi=
nance/student-fees/index.aspx">Student Fees page</a>.<p>If you have any que=
stions on this, or any other part of Online Registration, you can <a href=

=3D523">log your query online</a> or call the Registration Helpline on 0121=
 414 9009. </p><h1 class=3D"title">What happens next?</h1>Once you have com=
pleted Online Registration and uploaded your photograph, your student ID ca=
rd will be printed and your department will know to expect you. <p>If you a=
re a <b>UK student</b> arriving in September 2019 and have completed Online=
 Registration by Monday 2 September, your ID card will be posted to you at =
home, along with more exciting information about <a href=3D"https://www.bir=
mingham.ac.uk/welcome/index.aspx">Welcome</a>. <p> If you are an <b>interna=
tional student </b> (including EEA students), you will be able to collect y=
our ID card once you have arrived on campus. Students from outside the EEA =
will need to bring their passport, visa and Biometric Residence Permit (if =
applicable) to be checked before beginning their studies.  Please read our =
