n is really important as it enrols you onto your course and ensures you hav=
e access to all the services and facilities you will need as a student, inc=
luding your student ID card and student email account. We recommend you do =
this as soon as possible so that you can start to enjoy being a student of =
the University! Registration should take no more than 30 minutes.<p>It is e=
ssential that we have the right contact details for you whilst you are a st=
udent, so that we can keep you up-to-date on any important information. You=
 will be asked to confirm your details during Online Registration and can c=
hange these at any time throughout the year by visiting <a href=3D"https://=

1><p>To get to Online Registration, log into the <a href=3D"https://www.my.=
bham.ac.uk/">my.bham</a> student portal using the details below, then selec=
t the my.programme tab and follow the link to Online Registration. For more=

.<h1 class=3D"title">What do I need for Online Registration?</h1>There are =
a few things you will need to tell us and upload when you complete Online R=
egistration. Take a moment to read through the information below so that yo=
u have everything to hand before you start.<p><b>1.  ID Number and Login De=
tails</b><p>Your student ID number is: 2093536</p><p>You will also need you=
r student username and password, sometimes referred to as your AD Username.=
 Keep these details safe! You will use them throughout your time at the Uni=
versity to access online services, including your student email account.</p=
><p> AD Username: AAF936<br>Password: N976943w</p><p>Take control of your U=
niversity password without having to contact the IT Service Desk by registe=
ring for our <a href=3D"https://www.my.password.bham.ac.uk/">My Password se=
rvice</a> today where you can create a basic profile and change your passwo=
rd.<p><b>2. Passport and visa </b></p>All students (UK, EEA and internation=
al) will need to confirm to us that they have the right to study in the UK =
by uploading copies of documents such as your passport and/or visa.  It is =
extremely important that you take time to read <a href=3D"https://intranet.=
birmingham.ac.uk/student/student-hub/solution.aspx?nodeId=3D3410">the infor=
mation provided online</a> to ensure you upload the appropriate documents, =
as these may differ from student to student. <p><b>3. ID Card Photo</b></p>=
<p>You will be asked to upload a photo for your student ID card. This needs=
 to be a recent passport-style, digital image which clearly shows your face=
. Please read the <a href=3D"https://intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/stud=
ent-hub/menu.aspx?nodeId=3D2163">Image Guidelines</a> before uploading your=
 photo to check that it is suitable, and remember, this will be your offici=
al University ID! </p><p><b>4.  Fees and Funding</b><p>Once you have regist=
ered you will receive an invoice confirming your tuition fees and the date =
by which they are due to be paid or a Direct Debit application made to pay =
in monthly or termly instalments.  If your fees are paid by a sponsor, plea=
se provide the details as part of Online Registration.<p>To set up a Direct=
 Debit or see full details on all payment methods available, please visit o=

hat happens next?</h1>Once you have completed Online Registration and uploa=
ded your photograph, your student ID card will be printed and your departme=
nt will know to expect you. <p>If you are a <b>UK student</b> arriving in S=
eptember 2019 and have completed Online Registration by Monday 2 September,=
 your ID card will be posted to you at home, along with more exciting infor=
mation about <a href=3D"https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/welcome/index.aspx">We=
lcome</a>. <p> If you are an <b>international student </b> (including EEA s=
tudents) you will be able to collect your ID card once you have arrived on =
campus.  Students from outside the EEA will need to bring their passport, v=
isa and Biometric Residence Permit (if applicable) to be checked before beg=
