Week 2 was another fantastic week on the course. All of the
educators and mentors have said how much we are enjoying it. We
always check in with each other throughout the week to see how
its going. The centos and responses to the exercises have really
impressed us.

We know that the formal elements can feel off-putting, but there
are also many people who really enjoy them. In the end it=E2=80=99s your=0D
choice: go with what helps your writing=E2=80=A6ignore the rest.

We are now, with a mixture of excitement and sadness, looking
towards the final week of the course=E2=80=A6 In Week 3, we will be
looking at the creative writing workshop. Many of you have
already been giving feedback to each other in a very positive
way. This week, we eavesdrop on a creative writing group in
Manchester who have been working with Helen to see how they edit
their work.

We=E2=80=99ll be thinking about the kind of comments that are useful to=0D
others before finally submitting our own poems for review. We are
particularly lucky, as one of the workshop participants in the
video, Natalie, is a mentor on this course! She, as well as
Betty, Niall and I are always there to answer questions if you
have them.
