ciation Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. November 19 - 21=2C 2020 (https:=
//africanstudies.org/annual-meetings/) . Submissions close on Wednesday=2C=
 April 1 at 11:59pm EST.

Our Final Submission Pro-tips:
1. TOO MANY PANELISTS? Consider sibling panels! Submit two panel proposals=
 with the same title and label them Part I and Part II so we know that the=
y belong together.
2. PRE-REGISTER for the conference (https://myasa.africanstudies.org/login=
) by April 1=2C and make sure your co-panelists do too. It is required to=
 be considered.
3. SAVE on pre-registration when you become a member for 2020 (https://afr=
icanstudies.org/individualmembership/join-asa/) .
4. SUBMIT using a new login. DON'T FORGET that we're using new submission=
 software=2C so follow the instructions below to create your NEW submissio=
n login.

CRITICAL 2020 SUBMISSION INFO: This year=2C the ASA is using new software=
 to manage the submission process. Once you pre-register and are on the su=
bmission page you must set up a new login profile - separate from the MyAS=
A system. We recommend that you use the same login information as myASA=2C=
 but at this time=2C the information does not automatically sync over. Thi=
s is a goal for future years=2C and apologize for the inconvenience.

Individuals MUST pre-register (https://myasa.africanstudies.org/)  for the=
 conference by April 1 in order to submit. Please see our Submission Guide=
lines (https://africanstudies.org/annual-meetings/2020-submission-guidelin=
es/) for full details. Proposal decisions will be made within 8-10 weeks o=
f the deadline. Notices will be sent out by email=2C with acceptance conti=
ngent on receipt of pre-registration fees.
